Core Values

Core Values For Living N Come-Unity Core Values for LIFE in the Kingdom Here and Now Loving God and Loving HIS Ways.

Our core values help to define the foundation on which our come-unity culture and lifestyles are built. When we make decisions as to the development and sustenance of our revival culture we base them on our core values. Simply stated, they define why we do what we do. How is it that we will create a culture of revival and how to walk in signs and wonders? It is the realization of the fact that it is our core values that allow the sustaining of this culture and purposing daily to live by them. These core values are designed to create a safe environment where people can make mistakes and fail, where they experience grace and discipling as we do life together, and where they learn to hear, see and feel the heart of God so that they can successfully partner with Him to see His Kingdom come here on earth as in heaven. This is what we want to cultivate in EVERY arena of our life....home, family, work, friendships and all other relationships
Core Values to Live By
A Culture of Love Starts With Me!
• We (I) will always strive to love you and deal with you out of love. • Jesus said love your neighbor as you love yourself It is very important for you to love yourself, receive God's love and receive love. ( Prayer: 0 God, make up the difference between the love that I have been given and the love that I truly received.) • Keep love at the center of all that you are and all that you do.
Empowering Versus a Controlling Culture • Purpose to have (create) an empowering culture in and around you and work hard NOT to have a controlling one. (Remembering that we will recreate around us that which is going on IN us!) • That means we (I) will work hard to call out the destiny in you and empower you to reach your full potential. • An empowering culture has honor and respect as its core value. • A controlling culture means you are motivated externally by the fear of others. • A controlling culture has fear and punishment as its core value.
Ownership • You will never reach your full potential until you take responsibility for your own personal greatness. • As long as you perform so that you don't get in trouble you haven't taken responsibility for your own life. • We will never work harder to solve your problems than you do. • We will solve problems with you, but not for you.
Accountability talked to the person that offended you. If this does not go well you may then request to speak to them with someone else.
Royalty • You are royalty, princes and princesses of the King. • You are not paupers. Learn to think and live out of your new identity — truly who God created you to be.
Honesty • We expect you to be honest no matter what it cost you. • Trust is built on honesty and integrity. • Telling half-truths, cheating or lying destroys trust. • Trust is the foundation of all good relationships.
Mind of Christ • As a Christian you have the mind of Christ. • We want to be a safe place that encourages, exemplifies and teaches you how to think more than what to think.
The Qualities of a Revivalist as well as Qualities We Strive for as a Safe People
I. A believer who is focused and passionate. 2. Willing to pay any price to live in purity and power. 3. Loves and carries the presence of God because of their intimacy with and identity in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 4. Is discipled and is discipling others. Mentored and is mentoring others. (We will teach what we know/mentoring BUT we will reproduce who we are/discipling.) 5. Leads with a king's heart and a servant's hand.
• We expect you to be accountable to ones that God has placed in your life. You have joined a family and are living in community with us (come-unity!). • Learn to trust someone more than you trust yourself.
Risk • Faith is spelled "R-I-S-K". • If you want to grow, you must take a risk. Be willing to be stretched and expanded. Be teachable. • If you don't fail once in a while, you are not taking enough risks (obviously we are not talking of moral or character failures!).
Honor • Life flows from honor. • We have been called to a rectangular table; not a round table where all have an equal voice. There are levels of honor in the Kingdom. Take the low spot like James says and let the host move you up. • Always deal with God, any leadership in your life, yourself and each other with honor and respect. • Don't choose your behavior out of fear that you will be punished or thought ill of. Do the right things because you don't want to disappoint God, the authority/leadership in your life as well as yourself.
Confrontation • We have a confrontational culture. If something is done that one thinks there is need for adjustment — in love and with a right heart there will be conversation had about it. • If there is someone that does something that you think needs adjusted, you are invited to go to them privately and talk to them. Don't talk to others about an issue until you have first
6. Knows, lives and purposes to grow in the Truth and Love. 7. Has deep faith, therefore signs and wonders follow them. 8. Loves the lost and Christ's bride, His overcoming Church. 9. Having experienced grace, their character is marked by calling, holiness, wholeness and excellence. 10.Ministers and lives in friendship, rightly related to authority and community.
Core Values
1. We owe the world an encounter with God; therefore, we are relentless in the pursuit of His presence and power both inside and outside the church walls (Acts 16:25-34).
2. What we believe after we pray is just as important as what we believe while we pray (Mark 11:24, I John 5:14, 15).
3. We see problems as opportunities to see how big our God is (James 1:2-5; Romans 5:3-5).
4. Prayer and worship times (both private and corporate) are foundational to our calling as individuals and as a church (Mark 11:17; John 4:23, 24).
5. Celebrating joyously in God's promises and in His goodness (which includes laughing at the lies of the devil) is a secret to our strength (Nehemiah 8:10 ; Psalms 2:2-4).

14. We pursue relationship with spiritual fathers and mothers and desire them to speak in to our lives. Being teachable. (Acts 16:13-15)
15. We understand that to walk in wisdom we must have a plan for our personal and ministry growth (I Timothy 4 : 14- 16)
16. As new covenant believers, we repent primarily to God's promises and our prophetic destiny rather than just from our sins and weaknesses. We are more for good than we are against evil. Amen and Amen!!
17. We create a culture where failure is a learning experience, not an identity, as we seek to walk in higher levels in Christ.
18. We are called to empower and support other church/ministries and their leaders.
19. We believe that others around us want to serve God and that they will rise to our belief in them.
20. Healthy ministry to the church and world much result from a greater emphasis on being healthy in our immediate family relationships (especially our marriages).
21. Integrity, being an example of Christian living, and having a good reputation are foundational for effective ministry and leadership.
22. God has delegated His authority to us to enforce Christ's victory over demons, sickness and lack. Therefore, like Jesus
and the Apostles, we speak to the mountains, to situations, and to sickness and disease.
23. All that we do must have a "I Corinthians 13 LOVE" as its foundation or else it is worthless.
24. The qualities of our lives are based on the quality of our commitments. We make covenant commitments to God, to family, to a local church, and to a core group of people in our lives.
25. Servanthood is essential to greatness in God's kingdom. Therefore, we work hard, but from that place of rest, to cultivate and demonstrate a true servant's heart in the way we live everyday 24/7, in our homes, in our community, church and world.
26. Because God's Kingdom is proactive, we don't wait for things to happen, but we seek out opportunities for His Light through us to shine in darkness — being empowered by God's love, sensitivity, and wisdom.
