Inner Healing Prayer

Inner healing prayer ministry is a form of Christian prayer that invites the Holy Spirit to heal the deep places of a person’s heart that carry wounds from past experiences, relationships, or lies they have believed. It is sometimes called "healing of memories" or "prayer for the heart," and its goal is not simply emotional relief but transformation through the presence of Jesus Christ.

At its core, inner healing prayer is based on the belief that Jesus came not only to forgive sins but also to "bind up the brokenhearted" (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18). Many Christians carry hidden pain from past trauma, rejection, or destructive words spoken over them. These unhealed wounds can shape how they see God, themselves, and others, often creating patterns of fear, shame, anger, or unbelief. Inner healing prayer creates a safe space where a person can bring these wounded areas before God and allow Him to speak truth and love into them.

The focus is on experiencing Christ’s healing presence and receiving His perspective. Often, the Holy Spirit brings a new sense of peace, forgiveness, freedom from lies, and restoration of identity as a beloved child of God.

Jesus met people right where they were. He was never formulaic in His words or actions, and His impact was—and continues to be—transformative and life-changing.

When you come for inner healing prayer, we will follow the same approach. Rather than relying on a set formula, we will invite the Holy Spirit to lead, because He is the Wonderful Counselor. Along the way, I may draw on various tools I’ve found helpful over the years, such as the Steps to Freedom In Christ, imaginative prayer, body work, journaling, or deliverance ministry.

Because each person is beautifully unique, no two sessions are ever the same.

You can experience your Inner Healing Prayer Session in person at Arukah House or remotely. 

Before scheduling an Inner Healing Prayer session, we’ll begin with a short inquiry call to see if this feels like a good fit for both of us. I don’t take on every inquiry, as it’s important that the timing and approach are right.

There is no fixed fee for a session, but a donation of $145 for a 60–90 minute session is a guide. This suggested amount allows those who are facing genuine financial hardship to still receive Inner Healing Prayer without cost being a barrier.

It is important to note that inner healing prayer is not a replacement for professional counseling or medical care but a complementary ministry that addresses the spiritual and emotional dimensions of life. Its fruit is greater intimacy with God, healthier relationships, and a deeper ability to walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ promises.
